The Andromeda and The Milky Way Collision

Uh-Oh, Andromeda (Aka M31) and The Milky Way are colliding, eeek! In about 4 billion years Andromeda will collide with The Milky Way. But first, let’s talk about the galaxies. A galaxy is a giant place where stars, black holes, planets, and moons live. Both of these galaxies are spiral galaxies. In the center is the nucleus. It is a supermassive black hole that many stars orbit. Also the Triangulum galaxy. Here is the podium. The third biggest is the Triangulum galaxy. (AKA M33) The second biggest is our own galaxy called the Milky Way. The Biggest is Andromeda. This collision would form an elliptical galaxy.
